Publication Policy
- The journal includes scientific articles, compilations, translations and studies on human rights. The articles should be original, raising awareness about human rights, educational and creating a different perspective. In the articles, the criteria of being based on research, contributing to the field, and examining new and different developments are taken into consideration.
- The journal publishes articles in Turkish and English.
- Studies are sent to the Journal through the DergiPark system.
- Studies that do not comply with the publication principles and writing rules are not included in the evaluation process or are excluded from evaluation at any stage of this process.
- All rights of the articles published in the journal are reserved; It cannot be reproduced in any way without the permission of the journal and cannot be used without specifying the reference source.
- Permission documents belonging to the author(s) of the articles translated from their original language to Turkish and if the article has been published in another journal before, the copyright transfer agreement must be notified to the journal. All copyright costs of translated articles belong to the translator.
- Manuscripts to be sent to TİHEK Academic Journal should not have been published elsewhere or should not be in the process of being evaluated for publication. Authors are responsible for the originality and confirmation of the sources.
- Manuscripts are sent to the referee by removing the names of the authors from the text, in accordance with the "blind refereeing" system. The authors are not informed about which referee the manuscript was sent to. If the referee does not find it appropriate to publish the article, this situation is reported to the author with justification. If the referee's report contains corrections; The report is sent to the author without specifying the referee's name and it is reported that the article can be published after it is corrected according to the referee's report. This process continues until the referee approves the publication of the manuscript. When one of the referee reports is positive and the other is negative, a third referee evaluation is applied.
- In case the authors are requested to edit, corrections should be made within the period determined by the editorial board. Articles for which corrections are not made in a timely manner will be rejected.
- After the studies, which are decided to be printable by the editorial board in line with the referee's opinions, are reviewed, including issues such as writing order, spelling rules, bibliography, associating the visual material with the text, the final review is made by the editor-in-chief if there is no significant problem.
- The application, review, editorial evaluation, referee review, correction and publication processes of the studies submitted to our Journal vary between 1 month and 3 months on average. Authors can follow this process on DergiPark.
- If the study was supported by an institution/organization or prepared from a doctoral/master's thesis, this should be given as a footnote at the bottom of the first page.
- It should be indicated in which symposium or congress, when and where the studies presented in the studies presented at scientific meetings with a footnote attached to the title of the article.
- In the articles prepared from doctoral or master's theses, the author should definitely state that the article was prepared from the thesis study. Otherwise, it is evaluated within the framework of plagiarism. The name of the owner of the thesis is written first in the name order; The advisor and other authors cannot be written before the owner of the thesis. The contribution of the authors other than the thesis owner and the advisor is indicated in the article.
- In the same issue of the Journal, one author can be published as the first name, and at most two works as the second name and the other name.
- The views expressed in the published studies belong to the author; It does not express the institutional view of TİHEK. All responsibilities arising from the published articles belong to the author(s).
- TİHEK has all kinds of publication rights of the articles accepted for publication. Authors must sign the "Work Declaration Form" (Gömülü link), which includes copyright transfer and legal responsibility, and upload it through the system.
- No cash royalties are paid to authors of articles published in the journal.
Works that do not comply with the rules stated above will not be evaluated.
